The store our homemade jerky is made in is called The Meating Place and was opened back in 1989 by my father Mario. We are located in New Jersey and have been in the meat business since 1969 when Mario immigrated from Slovakia and owned his first store, Ludwig’s in Union City.
Our jerky business started in 2019 when we wanted to give our customers an easy snack to take on the go! We only use the best eye rounds and pork loins. All the jerky is done in small batches, everything from slicing to marinating to dehydrating to packing and shipping is all done by me, Dylan. Our marinades and seasoning are all simple in ingredients but pack great flavor into our jerky!
